You’ll attend all five sessions with the same small group, giving you time to build on what you learn, ask questions as things come up, and get to know the other business owners going through the experience with you.

You do not need to have everything figured out before joining Business Foundations.
In fact, that is rather the point.
If you are wondering whether your business is “ready enough”, whether you know enough about numbers, or which experience is right for you, these are some of the questions we hear most often.
Do I need to be good with numbers?
Not at all.
Business Foundations is designed for business owners, not accountants. We explain financial concepts in plain language and focus on helping you understand what they mean in the context of your own business.
You do not need existing financial knowledge. You just need to be willing to learn and engage.
Do my books need to be completely up to date before I join?
No.
You do not need perfectly organised finances to benefit from the programme.
If things are a little messy, behind or inconsistent, Business Foundations can actually help you understand what needs attention and start putting stronger habits and foundations in place.
I already have an accountant or bookkeeper. Will this still be useful?
Absolutely.
Having someone who handles your bookkeeping, accounting or tax does not remove your responsibility for understanding what is happening financially in your own business.
Business Foundations helps you become a more informed participant in those conversations, understand what to ask and use financial information more intentionally when making decisions.
What kind of business is Business Foundations for?
Business Foundations is designed for small business owners who want to build a stronger understanding of the financial side of running their business.
You may be relatively new to business, several years in, or simply at the point where you know the way you have been managing the financial side needs to change.
You do not need a certain turnover or a perfectly established business to join.
What if my finances feel like a complete mess?
You are welcome here.
Business Foundations is not a reward for people who already have everything under control.
It is a practical place to start understanding what is happening, identifying what needs attention and building better financial habits without judgement.
What is the difference between Core and Premium?
Both experiences include the full five-module Business Foundations programme, workbook, resources, Money Style experience and access to the Business Foundations community.
Premium includes additional one-to-one implementation support with Shelly, giving you dedicated time to work through how what you are learning applies specifically to your own business.
Choose Core if you are comfortable learning and implementing mainly through the group experience.
Choose Premium if you know you would benefit from more personalised support alongside the programme.
What if I cannot attend one of the five sessions?
The five modules build on one another, so attending all five sessions will give you the strongest experience.
If you already know that you may not be able to attend one of the published dates, please get in touch before booking and we can talk through whether the cohort will still work for you.
What happens after I book?
Your registration and payment are completed securely through Quicket.
Once your place is confirmed, we will send you the information you need before the programme begins, including the practical details for your cohort and anything you need to prepare.
You do not need to arrive with all the answers.
Just bring your business, your questions and a willingness to look at the financial side a little differently.
Do you have a payment plan?
Yes. Easy payment plans are available for both the Core and Premium experiences, so you do not have to pay the full programme fee upfront.
You can choose:
2-part payment plan
50% deposit when you book
Remaining 50% payable before Session 2
3-part payment plan
40% deposit when you book
30% payable before Session 1
Remaining 30% payable before Session 2
Your place is secured once the required deposit has been paid.
